This is an open session where you don’t have to book and you pay weekly. The gym has soft play equipment, bars, beams, ladders, tunnels, bouncy castles etc.
Your child will learn to improve their balancing, running, swinging, climbing, bouncing and jumping etc.
Please note: you have to stay to supervise your child.
Parents leave the children with the instructors for this class. The session consists of a warn up to music, fun exercises, imitating animals, (a fun way of strengthening muscles), skipping and hopping.
Then they go on to work with bean bags, rope, ball, hoops, rolls, occasional trampolining, parachute and bouncy castle, varying each week. They then follow a circuit of apparatus and finish with a song. Children work towards British Gymnastics Badges.
This class is about getting ready to move into the age 5+ gym class. It starts the same as Mini Gym with warming up to music, exercise, animals, hopping and skipping.
Then the children are split into groups and go on the Bars, Beams, Trampet, Floor, Vault and Trampoline, varying the apparatus each week.
